B.Ed Admission at AMU Malappuram Center

 Qualification Details :-

At least 50% marks in B.A. / B.Sc. / B. Com. / B.Th. in aggregate and in the subject concerned and / or in the Master’s Degree in Science / Social Sciences / Humanities, Bachelor in Engineering & Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks. Note:

a) The candidate should have studied two school subjects at graduate / equivalent recognised Madarsa education level as main or subsidiary subjects. The list of applicable school subjects are given above.

b) The candidates with recognised Madarsa degree / qualification may opt Arabic / Persian / Urdu / Theology as Teaching subject.

 c) The Status (Internal / External) will only be determined on the basis of B.A. / B. Sc. / B. Com. / B. Th. Examination only.

d) Malayalam / Bengali subject will only be considered as School Subject at Malappuram / Murshidabad Centres respectively.These subjects will not be considered as School Subject for AMU Aligarh.

e) Candidate should refer to ‘Allowed Courses’ under ‘Important Information & Rules’ to ascertain whether s/he is permitted to apply for the course of study.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION

Step 1 : Profile

1. Candidate has to fill in the mandatory fields given in the Performa
2. Write the correct Enrolment number if you are/were a student of AMU. It is needed to claim the Internal status for a course in which you are applying. The Internal/External status will be filled in Step 3 while applying for a particular course.
3. The external candidates are required to leave Enrolment column as blank.
4. After Saving the Profile candidate will be asked to Review and Confirm that the particulars entered are correct.
5. Candidate will not be able to Edit/correct his Profile after Confirmation. However he/she will be able all particulars of his/her Profile in other application forms without re-filling them again and again.

Step 2 : Photo & Signature

1. Candidate has to upload his/her latest photo & signature and the same will appear on PDF file of his/her Application Form. The size of images must not exceed 80 KB.
2. Candidate will reserve 10 hard copies of the uploaded photo with him/her as they will be needed at different occasions along with application form as well as at the time admission.

Step 3 : Course of Entrance Test

1. Candidate has to select the particulars course and fill up the details accordingly.
2. After filling the form the candidate will proceed for proceed for Entrance Test Fee Payment.

Step 4 : Entrance Test Fee Payment (There are the following 2 modes of Payment and the candidate can choose either of them)

1. Offline Mode: You can use Demand Draft for the payment of Application Fee of the Entrance Test. Such candidates should get the DD of required amount in advance before filling the application form and should fill its particulars in the Application Form. The DD should be drawn in favour of FINANCE OFFICER, AMU ALIGARH payable at ALIGARH.

Step 5 : Submission of Printed Application Form

1. Link of PDF file of the filled Application Form will appear on the Dashboard (above) of the candidate.
2. Download the PDF file of the Application Form. Attach the required documents and photos etc and submit it as per instructions.

Step 6 : Admit Card

1. The same Dashboard will be used to monitor the status of your Application Form and to Download the Admit Card for Entrance Test.

Essential Qualifications:

(i)                  Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s level in relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University;

(ii)                 Relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph. D. degree holders, who have obtained their master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991.

(iii)               Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET FOR those with Ph.D. degree. However, the candidates having Ph.D. in the concerned subjects are exempted from NET.

(iv)              Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) an (ii) above, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor/Guest Faculty.

(v)                NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. 

Note:The appointment will be purely temporary till the end of academic Session 2015-16
